My name is Kirsty Summers and I am the manager of all Baby Signing classes. I am married with two children who both began starting to sign before the age of one. Jacks first sign was 'more' and Isabelle's were 'milk' and 'eat'. Undoubtedly they both have my appetite!

 

I have studied many subjects including Makaton, Psychology, Law, Business Studies, Financial Studies and Media Production. I've always had an interest in Sign Language but it wasn't until I had my first child that I decided to explore it further and began to learn signs for babies.

 

I get huge job satisfaction when parents tell me about new signs their children have learnt and how it has helped them communicate with their baby. I also really enjoy delivering sessions to pre-schoolers, they are always so enthusiastic and pick up signs so quickly!
